Alex is currently a rising senior in Branford College, majoring in Political Science with a certificate in Education Studies. A native of New Haven, he currently serves as the Ward 1 Alder on the New Haven Board of Alders, the city's principal legislative body. On campus, Alex has been involved in the Yale College Council, the Yale First-Gen Low-Income Advocacy Movement, and his multicultural greek fraternity La Unidad Latina. In his free time, he enjoys biking around New Haven (particularly in his neighborhood of Fair Haven), listening to music, and writing poetry.
