We will hear from recent Interim Director of the Center for British Art, Deans Richard Brodhead, and our own John Wilkinson, who will speak to us from their perspective of their own deanships (and Brodhead's presidency of Duke) about the highs and lows of collegiate administration in the latter part of the Twentieth Century. After our enlightening Deans’ Fireside Chat, Lucinda Lax, Interim Head of Curatorial Division, YCBA, will give a brief introduction to the museum’s collection before welcoming everyone to explore the newly refurbished and globally heralded Yale Center for British Art on your own.
