WELCOME to the 70th REUNION!

Dear Classmates—

For the first time since 2022, when we held our Covid-postponed 65th reunion, we finally have the wonderful opportunity to gather together in person in New Haven for our Yale College Class of 1956 70th Reunion!

While our Class has managed to stay closely connected over the past few years through our Zoom calls and Yale '56 Talks, Class Notes, Class Website, and other outreach, there’s nothing like seeing one another face-to-face.

Register now and plan to join us!

TIME AND PLACE

Dates: May 22-24, 2026 | Friday through Sunday

Headquarters: Omni New Haven Hotel

REUNION ACTIVITIES

Friday Afternoon: Check in at the York Room of the Omni Hotel beginning at noon, and then attend a screening of classmate Stephen Scher's award-winning documentary The Way It Was: Paris Restaurants in the 1970s.

Saturday Morning at Yale: Choose among many top Yale lecturers and tours. Visit Yale’s many new and restored facilities, including the Peabody Museum, British Art Center, the Schwarzman Center, and more!
Saturday Afternoon: Attend our Class Luncheon in the President's Room of the Schwarzman Center, then attend a lecture on Artificial Intelligence at Yale given by Jennifer Frederick, Associate Provost and Executive Director of the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning. Later that afternoon we will join other reunion classes to hear from Yale President Maurie McInnis and then enjoy the Celebration of Yale Singing.

Meals: We will gather together for Friday dinner at the Elm City Club. Saturday's breakfast will be held at the Omni Hotel. At Saturday evening dinner in Mory's, we’ll hold our official Class Meeting. During Sunday brunch, we will hold our Class Memorial Service.
Camaraderie: Enjoy mixing during ample unscheduled time, including at the Omni Hotel following Saturday dinner at Mory's.

Class dues support our Class activities, but they are not considered gifts to Yale. As we prepare for our momentous 70th reunion, we invite you to honor this milestone by making a gift to an area of the university that holds personal significance to you. Contributions to the Alumni Fund (unrestricted), endowed funds (restricted), and planned gifts all count towards our reunion gift. Your generosity will not only support our Class but also enhance the broader Yale community.
