9Y1 | I Have a Book in Me

According to a recent survey, at some point in their lives, more than 75% of Americans want to write a book. (You may be one of them.) In this panel we’ll hear from a range of classmates who have actually done it—their motivation; the questions that they needed to ask of themselves and their subjects; the art of crafting compelling prose and narrative; unexpected challenges and surprises as they went from idea to bound book; what they learned at Yale that helped them think about the stories they wanted to tell, and how to best tell them; and what got them (and might get you) to the finish line.

Moderator: Geoff Shandler (PC)

Panelists: Joshua Barkan (TC), Robinne Lee (TC), Hilary Liftin, Amy Waldman (SY), others TBA
