8Y6 | Talking Through Tough Issues: What Works?

How can we promote dialogue, build trust, and move forward in this complicated time despite our differences? In this session inspired by Yale’s new Cultivating Conversation initiative, we'll begin with a moderated discussion between our classmates Brad Berenson and Sarah Hutt on the state of law and justice in America—as controversial a topic as any—and then move to breakout groups to exchange insights on how to foster constructive dialogue around divisive issues. Tom Banchoff and Julie Hsieh, who spearheads the Yale initiative, will moderate the session.
