Class of 1991 - 35th Reunion
May 21 - 24, 2026

Welcome to Our 35th Reunion!

What is a reunion? The common dictionary definition we found, while technically accurate, sounds a bit absurd. Re-un-ion (n.): a meeting of persons of previous connection. “Previous connection.” As if we once shared a conference call or traded business cards after a meeting. As if what happened during our time at Yale amounts only to a prior business relationship, now being renewed for administrative purposes.

Definitions and etymology fail to much of who we know ourselves to be came into focus in New Haven, during the key years when our sense of self and our place among others were still taking shape. Some of the folks we’ll see in May were there when we were first figuring out who we were, some as witnesses, others as catalysts for those changes. But whether our time at Yale represented transformation or merely transition, the process didn’t stop when we received our diplomas in 1991.

What we’ve accomplished since graduation—that’s for resumés and LinkedIn profiles. The more interesting question is: Who have we become? What are the choices we couldn’t have foreseen, or the things we care about now that we didn't have language for then? What are the moments, whether professional, personal, or spiritual, that split our experiences into Before and After?

Most of us navigated at least one pivot we couldn't have anticipated: a career that changed direction, a relationship that ended or began suddenly, a loss that reordered everything, a discovery that opened a door we didn’t know was there. We have changed. But what has stayed true? Let's find out together.

We can’t wait to see you in New Haven!
