Welcome to Our 60th Reunion!
Dear Classmate,
Gratefully, and for the first time after a decade-long hiatus, we finally have the wonderful opportunity to gather together in person for our Yale Class of 1966 60th Reunion!
While our Class has managed to stay connected over the past several years through our '66LIVE Zoom calls, the YAM notes, and many small gatherings of Classmates, there’s nothing like seeing one another face-to-face.
It’s time to REGISTER via the Reunion Link below. We are eager to see and be with all of you again!
TIME AND PLACE
Dates: May 21-24, 2026, Thursday through Sunday
Headquarters: Pierson College
YALE ACTIVITIES
- Friday and Saturday "Mornings at Yale": choose among many top Yale lecturers.
- Visit Yale’s many new and restored facilities, including the Peabody Museum, British Art Center, two new residential colleges, and the Schwarzman Center (formerly known as Commons).
- Saturday Afternoon at Woolsey Hall: Hear from Yale President, Maurie McInnis, and then enjoy a Celebration of Singing.
CLASS OF 1966 ACTIVITIES
- Thursday: Welcome Cocktails and Buffet dinner under the tent at Pierson.
- Friday Afternoon/Evening: Attend our "Open Mic" session led by Jim Munson; in these sessions, which have become popular favorites at our last three in-person reunions, Classmates (and guests) are invited to come forward to take the mic and tell their best stories about the designated topic of the day (to be announced at a later time). Attend our “Class Memorial Service at Battell Chapel” led by Tom Porter. Then, enjoy cocktails and our seated Class Dinner under the tent at Pierson.
- Saturday Afternoon: Attend a Class Panel session led by Howie Mallory where 7-10 Classmates will discuss their fascinating passions and pursuits…
- Meals: Dine with old and new friends at all breakfasts, lunches and dinners under the tent at Pierson.
- Camaraderie: Enjoy mixing during ample unscheduled time and at cocktail hours after dinner each night.
- Additional programs we’re planning: a Class Golf event at the newly restored Yale Golf Course in progress. Singing around the piano is taking shape. And hopefully a chance to view the Bladderball Game from many years ago…
With just two months to go, here are your next steps:
- REGISTER to attend our reunion weekend. Spouses/partners of deceased Classmates have their Reunion Fees and accommodations at Pierson waived.
- Book your accommodations: you’re encouraged stay in our convenient, reasonably priced Pierson College headquarters, where there will be plenty of first and second floor rooms available (minimal stairs), just click the reunion registration link above.
- Bookmark our 60th Reunion Page on the YAA Reunions website to stay up-to-date on our weekend schedule, see who's registered, general reunion information from YAA and more. This page is your one-stop shop for all reunion information.
- Stay connected by watching for our Class emails and by continually checking our CLASS WEBSITE.
- To learn more about the availability of financial assistance, please visit that tab at the top of this page.
We can't wait to see you in New Haven!
People change their email addresses all the time, and it is difficult for Yale to keep up. We worry a lot that some of our reunion messages are not always getting through to everyone. So please stay in touch with your roommates and other friends and make sure that they stay up to date on all reunion information.
Best Boola’s!
Cary Koplin and Greg Weiss

Class of 1966 60th Reunion - $300
This affordable flat-rate reunion fee is made possible by our class's consistent participation in paying annual Class Dues. Surviving spouses of '66 classmates will have their fees for registration and on-campus housing waived.
Our expectation/preference is that classmates will bring a single guest with them. If you require an additional guest please contact the YAA to see if this can be arrange.
On-Campus Housing - $85/person/night
Fees are per-person:
1 Night = $85/person
2 Nights = $170/person
3 Nights = $255/person
Reunion fees are set by your reunion chairs and class leadership. The fees cover reunion activities, meals, and operations. We want to help as many classmates as we can attend their reunion and reconnect with the Class of 1966. If the cost of attending is a financial burden, please request financial aid. This support is provided on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure fairness and inclusivity.
Financial Aid Covers:
- 50% of registration fee (plus on-campus housing, if relevant) for classmates only
Financial Aid Does Not Cover:
- Personal Transportation/Travel to New Haven
- Local Hotels or Other Accommodations
- Additional Guests
REQUEST FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE HERE
Deadline: May 1. Please request assistance before this deadline. Financial aid is not available for walk-in registrations.
If attending your reunion is still a significant financial burden after the discount on reunion fees and campus housing, please let us know. We're here to support you and will do our best to ensure you can join us on campus.
CANCELLATION
The cancellation deadline to receive a FULL REFUND for reunion registration and campus housing is May 1. In the event you need to cancel after the May 1 deadline, refunds are based on the Classes recoverable costs and will be evaluated after your reunion. You can cancel your registration by emailing reunions@yale.edu.
ACCESSIBILITY & SPECIAL REQUESTS
The accessibility and special requests deadline is May 1. The YAA makes every effort to ensure that reunions are accessible to all alumni and guests. Special transportation and limited ADA accommodations are available. If you have physical limitations, special medical needs, or requests concerning meals, please include this information when you register for your reunion. You may also contact YAA at reunions@yale.edu or 203-432-2110 to help with your arrangements. Discussions must take place before the special requests deadline of May 1.
