Paige Breen is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Bordeaux, where she is researching sustainable disease management in viticulture at the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment. With support from the Fulbright program and the James Beard Foundation, she received her Master's in viticulture and oenology from Hochschule Geisenheim University and Institut Agro Montpellier. She also holds a Level 3 certification from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust. In addition, her wine and climate research has taken her to Napa, Tuscany, and the North Fork of Long Island. Before pivoting to viticulture, she received her Bachelor's degree in Geology & Geophysics from Yale.
