Dear Members & Friends of the Yale Class of 1965:

Our 60th Reunion is coming soon, so it’s time to mark your calendars and make your hotel reservations. Since Covid denied us our 55th Reunion, the opportunity to be together for the first time in a decade will be even more special!

Yale Class of 1965 60th Reunion

May 22-25, 2025

Thursday through Sunday

Reunion Headquarters at Pierson College

WEEKEND SCHEDULE

We are working with the YAA to ensure our weekend achieves three main goals, and here are some highlights:

  • Celebrate Old and New Friendships
    • Find ample free time for plain old camaraderie “under the Pierson tent”
    • Join “Special interest tables” at lunches, for teams, music groups, and clubs
    • Enjoy our Official Class Dinner on Saturday night…and expect a few surprises!

  • Experience a Revitalized Yale
    • Tour Yale’s magnificently renovated campus, including the two new Residential Colleges, a spectacularly renovated Peabody Museum, the new Schwarzman Center, and the very special Alexander Walk, named in honor of our classmate, Bruce Alexander
    • Enjoy the ever-popular “Mornings at Yale” on Friday and Saturday, with presentations and lectures from several of Yale’s popular faculty members

  • Attend Classmate Programs
    • Be entertained: “Passions & Pursuits”— classmate interests, hobbies, and more
    • Be stimulated: “Journalist on Journalist”—Dave Martin interviews Bob Woodward!
    • Be engaged: Attend one of several special interest programs conducted by classmates in their area of interest (more details to come...)
    • Be inspired: Memorial Service at Battell Chapel for our deceased classmates

Here’s the Snapshot for the entire weekend:

ACCOMMODATIONS

Hotel reservations may be made in local area hotels beginning on January 29 at noon ET. On-campus housing will also be available and can be reserved as part of your overall reunion registration. Visit the YAA Reunion website for more information about the reunion hotel block and on-campus housing.

Financial assistance is also available on a completely confidential basis. The application period for aid will begin shortly before registration opens. Be on the lookout for more information and instructions on how to apply.

The YAA tells us that the Class of 1965 is among the most vibrant and engaged classes in the alumni community. We are very proud of this fact, so let’s use our 60th to both celebrate and strengthen our ties.

We look forward to seeing all of you in New Haven in May!!
